I wanted to create a project that mimics the old-style pics from World War II. The uniform is not period correct; had to alter colors to match the Army Air Corps style as best I could. Also, my Air Force occupational badges did not exist in WWII so switched out those for pilot wings (I am not a pilot). I altered the backgrounds to look more authentic. Left picture has the background from an actual briefing room and the middle briefing pic has a map of Dresden, Germany (both found on Google). The right picture background is "The Airplane Restaurant" in Colorado Springs. The circle emblems are period correct - left is Army Air Corps and right is the 8th Air Force. The 8th Air Force conducted the United States portions (along with Great Britain's Royal Air Force) of the European bombing campaign in World War II.
